C&IT Corporate Forum once again brought together some of the most influential senior in-house corporate MICE event organisers and suppliers for a packed two day event.
Taking place at the beautiful Hilton London Syon Park, delegates and suppliers met to discuss key challenges facing the industry, had pre-arranged 1-2-1 business meetings and had the opportunity to network informally throughout the event.
Guinness World Records kicked off the event with an hour-long icebreaker, where attendees were grouped into teams of eight and attempted to break several records.
This was followed by a session on ‘Creating compelling events - Five conference trends for 2017’, which was delivered by Alex Vail, Head of Events at Digital Catapult. GPJ and drp continued the day with several huddle sessions and the days content ended on a Q&A session on how to make event budgets go further featuring Karen Small, Senior Client Services Manager at BDRC and Steve Hughes, Senior Brand Manager at Pernod Ricard.
Delegates and suppliers also got to try their hand at chocolate making with an activity organised by Event Management Group, followed by a drinks reception and dinner at Hilton London Syon Park.
On Tuesday, Paul Wright, Events Manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Sophie Begg, Events Marketing VP, Barclays, shared their expertise in a session on using technology solutions to overcome key challenges, while Astellas Pharma Europe along with agency Rapport showcased its award-winning One Astellas Live case event.
Cisco's Caroline Watson, event marketing strategy and program manager closed the forum with our Big Brand presents session, giving an insight into the company's innovative events portfolio.
