C&IT Corporate Forum 2019

This year's forum featured inspirational talks, panel discussions and a gala dinner in the ballroom at The Langham hotel

C&IT’s Corporate Forum 2019 kicked off at The Langham on Thursday 10 January.

The day began with a game show challenge hosted by Zing, where contestants had to handle ‘radioactive material’, hunt for plastic fruit, and guess the net worth of celebrity families.

A session on thinking outside the box by inspirational speaker David Meade was followed by panel discussions on increasing delegate engagement and building a solid relationship with your procurement team.

There were plenty of networking breaks alongside one-to-one meetings between corporates and suppliers throughout the day. Tata Steel rounded off the content with a case study of its C&IT award-winning event.

A champagne reception welcomed delegates to a sumptuous three-course meal with fish and mussels in a mild curry sauce and a chocolate and Baileys ice cream dessert. The evening’s entertainment included comedian Luke Kempner impersonating Trump, David Attenborough and Boris Johnson

Day two opened with a panel on sustainability and closed with an impromptu panel on topics chosen by the audience. Delegates said their farewells at a slap-up sit-down lunch at The Wigmore, The Langham’s onsite upmarket pub restaurant.
